We are after a Locum Veterinarian OR Permanent Veterinarian to join our friendly and professional team. Our team has five Veterinarians, Nurses, Cattery/Hospital Assistants, Receptionists and a Practice Manager. We are a companion or small animal clinic.

This is a very busy practice BUT the job would be suitable for any Veterinarian from a new graduate to one with more experience. We have five other very experienced Veterinarians available for support.

Experience with Ultrasound for basic procedures would be an advantage.

We aspire to excellent customer service and have a very large, loyal and diverse customer base. We offer everything from basic services such as vaccines and de-sexing to more complex procedures, including orthopaedics.

Integrity Animal Care is very community orientated and rescues and rehomes many “stray and unwanted animals”.

We do not do any “after hours” but we are open 7 days a week. The position would involve some weekend work , but that is shared between all vets, one weekend in 4 and days off during the week to compensate.

Hours would be 20 to 40+ each week. This is adjustable if the locum is wanting to travel and see local attractions. More hours are available for those who want work the 5 or more days each week.

We live in a fabulous part of Auckland City. We are close to the city, but the area has a village like feel. Transport is excellent with road and rail links. We are on the Manukau Harbour.

The time frame is negotiable.

For permanent Veterinarians the Annual Practicing Certificate, VIN membership and a salary percentage towards continuing education and training is included in the salary package. We also have regular in clinic training for all staff, with “guest” teachers.
