Locum Farm Vet – Franklin Vets, Taupiri, New Zealand

Work from August to November in our supportive Farm Services Vet team

Centrally located Waikato town within commuting distance of Hamilton

We’re looking for a well-rounded Locum Farm Vet with at least 2 years’ practical experience to join our progressive, veterinary practice, which employs 60 vets across 11 clinics. This role will be based in our Taupiri clinic.

A confident communicator, your ability to interact and engage with our farm clients is as strong as your commitment to ensuring the optimal health and well-being of production animals. Predominantly working with dairy cattle, there will also be some sheep and beef work.

You’ll be part of an experienced, supportive farm team, with expertise in many areas, including Mastitis, Reproduction and Nutrition.

In addition to a competitive locum rate, including a 4x4 double cab ute, and a generous afterhours roster, you will receive mentoring and support from the wider Franklin Vets Farm Team.
