Anexa Veterinary Services, a leading provider of pet, dairy and drystock care, is seeking an experienced and passionate vet nurse to join the team. This is an opportunity to work across two of our Northern Waikato clinics in the Ngaruawahia and Te Kauwhata branches, providing quality care to our patients.

About the role

You’ll work alongside experienced Veterinarians and Customer Service Coordinators. Responsibilities will include surgical nursing, anaesthetic monitoring, hospital care, admitting and discharging patients, maintaining equipment, and providing excellent customer service.

The role is 25.5 hours per week, 8.00 am – 5 pm days of work are flexible depending on the candidate, with the opportunity to work additional hours providing nursing and customer service cover across all Anexa clinics.

This is a fixed term role for a period of six (6) months.

About you

You’ll be committed to providing a high level of animal care and have excellent organisation and communication skills. You’ll be a collaborator and use your initiative and flexibility to help our teams manage the day efficiently.

You will be a qualified and experienced Vet Nurse who is confident in surgical nursing, general nursing tasks, enjoys customer service, and working in multiple teams and clinics with flexibility.
