VetSouth is on the hunt for an exceptional Agri-Retail Manager who has ‘superb client service’ in their bones.

You’ll be leading a large team of approximately 25 staff (4 direct reports) at various clinic locations across Southland and Otago, so strong leadership skills and having a focus on growing and supporting people capability is a must.

Our retail team is a critical part of delivering the right solutions for a wide range of clients. They are the friendly, welcoming face of the clinic, dealing with clients with empathy and confidence. Our team also needs to have a whole bunch of technical product knowledge, and be able to discuss with ease. No mean feat!

This role is a part of the VetSouth Senior Management Team (SMT) and will work closely with SMT members to successfully drive and deliver our business plan, while leading and driving client focused retail sales and customer service.

We are looking for someone with a passion for the veterinary / agriculture industry. Previous experience must include successfully managing teams, growing sales and enhancing client retail experiences. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with peers and wider team members is a critical element of this role, as is an interest in understanding and influencing business performance.
