He kōrero mōu: About you
We are looking for highly flexible individuals with a genuine enthusiasm and aptitude to work with a range of taxa, to join our fun and enthusiastic team - internationally regarded as innovators in this challenging and rewarding field. The successful applicants with be adaptable and agile, will be fast-learners and comfortable moving between teams/taxa at short notice.
To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate the following:
• Relevant knowledge and/or experience of animal husbandry in a zoo or similar environment,
• Certificate in Captive Wildlife Management and/or first degree in a relevant subject
• Self-motivated team player
• Current Full New Zealand driver license suitable for manual vehicles

This is a part-time role, working a minimum of 20 hours a week on a variable roster system including weekends and public holidays. A high level of energy and physical fitness will enable you to meet the daily challenges of the role.
