New Zealand’s borders are opening and we are ready to welcome Vets!!!

Do you want an adventure in an awesome country? Are you looking for a position where no two days are ever the same? Where you can help animals of all shapes and sizes and work within a team who have each-others back, enjoy a laugh (and the odd wine) and are committed to their patients, clients and each other!

Do you want to enjoy a rural lifestyle close to beautiful beaches and the Hauraki Gulf while being a stone’s throw from Auckland and all the social, sporting and cultural experiences it offers?

THEN WE HAVE A ROLE FOR YOU!!!

Dairy Flat Vet Hospital is a mixed practice with a large & growing client base mainly focused around small and lifestyle block animals and sport/pleasure horses.

The clinic is well equipped with digital DR x-ray, fixed & portable U/S, endoscopy, Abaxis laboratory equipment, dental x-rays and separate cat/dog and isolation hospitalisation areas.

Dairy Flat Vet Hospital is part of the independently-owned Veterinary Hospital Group. Within the group there are 30+ vets including those with special interests and advanced training in orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery, imaging, internal medicine, feline medicine and ophthalmology. There is a generous baseline CPD allowance, frequent group CPD, and the potential to enter our “advanced practitioner pathway” where additional funding and time off to study can be provided.

We focus on providing an extremely supportive work environment with friendly staff dedicated to providing excellent patient care.

We are looking for EITHER A MIXED OR 100% COMPANION ANIMAL VET committed to practising good quality medicine and having fun while you do it! Some experience is preferred. After hours is shared between the mixed vets and is traditionally very quiet. 100% companion animal vets have no after hours requirement as small animals are referred to the local after hours clinics.

The position is full time. However, we will consider part time hours for the right applicant and are able to work within a flexible roster. We are happy to help with visa processes and relocation logistics and costs.
