Our mission is to provide better veterinary services for rural NZ, and to help us get the job done right we are seeking an Accountant to join the team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a finance team in a period of change, within a dynamic business, and evolving environment, where you can be part of real change and improvements. Future opportunities will arise, but the exact shape of those is yet to be determined.
The VetNZ Finance team supports the wider VetNZ group of companies, including VetSouth Ltd, West Coast Vets Ltd and Vet Clinic Morrinsville. This role will include regular business as usual work, plus mini projects and process improvements.
We are looking for someone with prior experience in an accounting role, with advanced excel skills, outstanding attention to detail and a desire for accurate outputs, with a natural drive towards best practice and continuous improvement. The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team, along with being an excellent communicator are essential skills.
