Tauranga Veterinary Services Ltd is the largest veterinary business in the Western Bay of Plenty servicing Companion animal, Large animal, Lifestyle and Equine clients with four clinics in Papamoa, Tauranga, Te Puna and Katikati. We are proud to be a local and family owned business, with a team of 34 highly skilled and engaged team members.

Our clinics provide in-house blood machines (CBC and biochemistry), digital x-ray, ultrasonography, dental x-ray, all within a purpose built facility. We offer a referral imaging service and also accept a variety of medical and surgical referrals from other practices.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and friendly professional veterinarian in our exciting, busy, locally owned practice at Papamoa Village. This position is Full-Time, Monday to Friday and every one in two Saturdays and some On Call hours. The role could be fulfilled with one full time Veterinarian or alternatively an option of two Part Time.

We have four practices across the Bay of Plenty working with small and large animals. Our team see a wide range of interesting and challenging cases which will stretch your knowledge and skills daily.

We are the only NZVA Best Practice Accredited Clinic in Tauranga, we strive for excellence in every aspect of our business.

The successful applicant will have;

  • Excellent general small animal surgical and medical skills
  • Ideally two years clinical experience (all applicants considered)
  • Be enthusiastic and passionate about the veterinary profession and growing the practice
  • Have a great team spirit and enjoy being supported by an outstanding team of veterinarians, nurses and support staff.
