Dairy Veterinarian | Te Awamutu

About the Role

VetEnt Te Awamutu is a large mixed animal practice. Our rural team of vets and technicians provide a comprehensive wrap around service to 120+ dairy farms across Waipa. We’re highly experienced, with the backing, knowledge and support of our subsidiary operations FarmCare, VetEnt Research and PureMilk.

About You

We are looking for a large animal vet with 2+ years of experience including a strong dairy focus. You will be looking for a great team environment, with opportunities to develop both your field consultations, hands-on practice, and client relationship and business skills.

This is a full-time Monday – Friday position. The role is based out of Te Awamutu with some occasional travel to work with our teams in Otorohanga and Te Kuiti.

What’s on Offer

An attractive salary, reasonable afterhours requirements, a supportive team environment and a company commitment to work-life balance means you’ll be enjoying not just the job, but everything Waipa has to offer including great communities and affordable housing.

You’ll find an array of career advancement opportunities including training support, CPD, clinic exchanges, and involvement in our subsidiary operations.

You will have access to the latest technology in a well-equipped practice and benefit from our wider regional and national network, while being supported to grow your own part of the business.
