Veterinary Centre by the Big Blue Cross has an opportunity for a talented and passionate Full-time Veterinarian Nurse with experience to join our Oamaru Small Animal Team. Enjoy a culture of excellence, with an experienced team of nearly 90 staff, including 30 vets, spread over 7 clinics. Our team have a huge depth of skill and knowledge covering all the major farm and companion animal species.
We operate in a modern clinic equipped with digital x-ray equipment, dental machines and in-house lab diagnostics. We pride ourselves in providing the best care for our patients and support for our clients.
We support Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and encourage you to progress your nursing career, and gain new skills. We also believe in a good work-life balance which is reflected in our nursing rooster.
Located close to the mountains, sea and lakes, Oamaru is very central for outdoor activities, along with a culturally diverse township and a strong history going back to early settlement.
