Paeroa, New Zealand
Mixed Practice Vet – Franklin Vets Paeroa
- Mixed practice position that can be tailored to fit your areas of focus
- Make your mark working in a well established clinic with supportive and loyal clients
- Join an enthusiastic and supportive Veterinary team
Continued growth means we’re looking for a well-rounded Vet to fill a mixed practice role servicing both companion animal and farm clients from our Paeroa clinic. If you’re a Vet with at least 2 years’ practical experience, we need you to join our progressive and growing mixed animal practice with 50 vets across 10 clinics.
While we require a mixed vet with the skills to take on a varied and diverse caseload, there is the ability to tailor this role to suit individual interests. If companion animal work is your preference, we can adjust the roster to ensure you spend the majority of your time focusing on this with further leadership opportunities in this space, or vice versa on the large animal side. Whichever way you lean our after-hours roster requires proficiency in both LA and CA.
We are looking for a strong communicator with a positive manner who aligns with our enthusiastic and progressive team. Your ability to interact and engage with our farm services clients will be as strong as your passion for individual companion animal care. Our vets are supported by a large team of vets with specific skills across dairy, equine and companion animal.
Located at our Paeroa branch you will have access to digital x-ray, In-house Idexx CBC, UA & Biochem machines, Ezyvet and Infovet. You will be part of a thriving rural community, close to the beaches of the Coromandel peninsula and Hamilton and Auckland.
In addition to a competitive salary and benefits, you will receive on-going mentoring and support from the wider Franklin Vets Team.
We pride ourselves on being a progressive practice, able to offer significant opportunities to the right people.
