Due to an increased growth of the Vets for Pets company, we are currently seeking a superstar nurse to fill a Permeant Full Time Locum role across all three of our clinics.

Our clinics are all equipped with in house bio-chemistry blood analysers, digital radiography, dental radiography, separate nurse consultation rooms and our Point Chevalier clinic now has ultrasonography. Nurses are encouraged to use all aspects of their nursing knowledge including placing of IV catheters, blood and urine sampling, monitoring of anaesthesia, hospital monitoring and treatment as well as triaging consultations and providing routine nursing consults. 

About the role:

You will be covering our nurses for holiday and sickness cover across all three clinics, and expected to fill any nursing position required, to assist our nursing with the day to day running of the clinic. The nature of this role means there is opportunity for a continuous workload within your availability.

Our ideal candidate will have:

- Ideally a qualification in vet nursing, but we are open to previously experienced nurses on further diploma study.

- A compassionate attitude towards people and animals.

- Computer literacy and eagerness to learn.

- Outstanding communication skills.

- Ability to adapt and multi-task in a busy environment.
