Technical Support Role – Veterinary Diagnostics 

 The Level 1 Technical Support Role is accountable for providing both Diagnostic and Connectivity support for Zoetis Diagnostics customers. This Support position is focused on being the first point of contact to remotely assist customers with their Diagnostic and Connectivity enquiries while ensuring a great customer experience when dealing with Zoetis.

Success in this role is defined through:

  • Providing remote problem solving & issue resolution outcomes for our Veterinary Point of care Diagnostics customers. 
  • Ability to work closely with our team of Diagnostics specialists in the field to ensure a high level of customer service and a good customer experience when dealing with all customer enquiries.
  • Assisting clinics with Connectivity enquiries around our VetScan range of analyser connecting to local Practice Management Software 
  • Assisting clinics with Post Install operation, applications, and educational support within the Point of Care Diagnostics space 
  • Building valued relationships with both internal and external customers with a view to achieving a positive outcome for our customers.

 

The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate:

  • Exceptional Oral and written communication skills
  • Customer centric service skills, be able to follow processes, make appropriate decisions and ensure a high level of follow-through
  • A strong understanding of general medical/veterinary clinic operations including but not limited to diagnostic applications, training requirements, and workflow processes
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to convey technical information
  • Knowledge of diagnostic products, instrumentation, Connectivity Solutions and clinic processes
  • Basic knowledge of animal disease states.
  • A willingness to continue to professionally develop themselves

Role requirements:

  • Experience working in a Veterinary/medical clinical support setting.
  • Exceptional phone manner with a focus on ensuring a great customer experience 
  • Candidate must possess a practical & analytical mindset and demonstrable critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work in a remote environment. 
  • To be able to work as an individual but must be a team player and a contributory member of a high-performing team
  • Have a good basic understanding of CRM programs (Salesforce.com – SAP would be an advantage)
  • This is a phone-based role providing first point of contact support for our Point of Care Veterinary Diagnostics customers and we are seeking the best candidate for this role. This role is remote and could be performed anywhere in New Zealand
