About us

Our Huntly clinic is a busy, varied in cases and has an outgoing and driven team and due to an internal move and development within the business we are ready to meet their next teammate! We are dedicated to providing exceptional service to all our clients and their animals. You will join three Vets, another fantastic Vet Nurse and two Customer Service coordinators in this role. Our practice is well equipped with a spacious treatment room, separate sterile surgery, 2 consult rooms, in-house blood machine, x-ray facilities and a large retail area in the middle of the shopping area.

Our team is passionate about growing our companion animal services to meet demand of our growing smallies customer base in Huntly. We are excited to have someone new to join us in this venture and to work closely with our small animal clients and their pets. There are significant opportunities to continue to develop your veterinary nursing career within this fun and driven team.

About the role

Surgical support, anaesthesia, patient monitoring, and treatment, admitting and discharging pets and communicating with clients will be the main priorities of this role along with assisting veterinarians with consults. Nurse consults e.g. post-operative checks, dental checks etc are also an important aspect that we would like to grow.

There are significant development opportunities available in this role. You will play a valuable part in developing the breadth and efficiency of our day to day companion animal services while being well-supported with ongoing clinical CPD (both internal and external). Anexa recognises the importance of supporting our nurses to continually grow their clinical knowledge and skill set.
