Are you ready for the next step in your veterinary career? We are looking for an ambitious people person to join our team as Clinical Lead Veterinarian at Pet Doctors Palmerston North.

Our clinic cat, Blackie, keeps the dogs in line and is very good at fooling team members into believing she has not been fed.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Small Animal Veterinarian to join us in this varied position in our well-established Palmerston North clinic.

Your day-to-day will include a balance of general practitioner small animal veterinary work, consults and surgeries, as well as clinical leadership responsibilities – working alongside our wonderful Practice Managers to keep things running smoothly.

We are open to an experienced clinical leader, but also open to welcoming onboard a senior experienced veterinarian who is keen to learn and develop into a leadership role. We have two wonderful Practice Managers in our team to help support you on the ground, leadership workshops and plenty of experience to lean on in the wider Pet Doctors and VetPartner networks across New Zealand

  • Flexible to be part-time or full-time
  • Only 1:4 Saturdays
  • We are closed on both Sundays and public holidays
  • No on-call/after hours
