This job is no longer accepting applications.

Closes: Feb 28, 2022

From March 2022 we have a position available within our three clinics for a veterinarian of at least three years’ clinical experience. We have the flexibility to accommodate a mixed practice, companion animal or production only veterinarian or we would also have positions for a veterinarian couple

Hauraki Vets is a privately owned practice delivering dairy and companion animal services in Ngatea, Thames and Paeroa.

Why choose to work in a private practice like ours over all the rest?

Simple really, “Financial” wellbeing.

Whilst they say money can’t buy you happiness it can certainly make it feel a whole lot better when you have to get out of bed in the night to know that you are getting rewarded for doing so. Working and progressing through a private practice gives you the opportunity to secure your financial future.

If you are prepared to work hard and contribute to the practice then a realistic expectation is to  double your current income in the next five years.

We offer our “Stepping Stones to Practice Ownership” Program. This program provides you with one on one training on practice management, offers additional professional development and allows you to either:

  • earn extra financial rewards as you go, or
  • bank rewards to put towards buying into the practice.

Our ideal applicant will be adaptable, resourceful and willing to contribute in a team environment.

Ngatea, Thames and Paeroa are located in the northern Waikato area which is an ideal location to experience truly mixed practice but still be close to the beaches and the city
