CoroVets is seeking another permanent veterinarian owing to the rapidly growing small-animal case load in Whangamata, as well as a growing large animal branch in Waihi.
Our main clinic is in Whangamata with branch clinics in Waihi (the large animal hub) and in Tairua. The region is popular for its idyllic beaches and range of outdoor pursuits.
We will be accepting vets of varying interests (whether large or small animal focused) with preference given to a mixed practitioner. You would join the team of three vets, four nurses/ techs and multiple support staff.
We practice to a high standard and believe in the importance of quality veterinary care in our community. We enjoy the opportunity to work up cases as needed and advanced diagnostic and treatment options are within the means of a large proportion of our clients.
Our equipment and in-house services have grown alongside the expanding caseload. Some of these include:
- TTA and fracture repair
- Advanced dental interest and treatment
- Digital dental and digital radiography
- Brand new Esaote Sigma ultrasound
- Easi-Scan large animal rectal scanning
- Idexx and Abaxis blood analysers
Rental accommodation can be provided in Whangamata, if required.
