Headquartered in Hong Kong, New Beta Innovation Ltd has research laboratories, manufacturing facilities and offices located in Hong Kong, China, Canada and New Zealand. New Beta Innovation New Zealand Ltd is responsible for supplying animal health products to the veterinary markets.

We are now looking for a high caliber candidate to join us as Sales & Marketing Manager – Veterinary with a passion for animal health to lead the market launch for our new product.

 

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Reporting directly to NZ GM, the incumbent is responsible for sales of the company product to independent and corporate veterinary practices. Manage KOL and client relations to maximize business opportunities. Provide feedback and input in relation to all sales and marketing activities to management. Use technical expertise to establish brand presence and opportunities for the company and product in the market.
  • Develop mutual business relationships with potential customers through presentations which demonstrate our value proposition to their business.
  • Regular analysis of relevant sales information and market data (qualitative & quantitative) to identify potential business growth through new customers and report on performance (monthly).
  • Develop and implement an annual tactical plan aimed at strategically pursuing new business opportunities and increase sales growth.
  • Manage organizational sales by developing business plans that cover sales, revenue and expense controls. Strive to exceed planned sales targets and KPIs.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and technical support to our veterinary clients, manage all customer enquiries in a timely and effective manner.
  • Follow up on all customer requests for information, quotes and samples in a timely manner.
  • Implement sales and marketing initiatives to achieve agreed sales, budgets and other KPI’s.
  • Liaise with other internal departments and use available expertise to assist in developing business and KOL relationships.
  • Liaise within the Animal Health industry and participate in exhibitions, trade shows, industry conventions, conferences and sales / training programs as required.
  • Contribute to the development of new business by undertaking product related marketing and sales-line activities.
  • Participate in the activities of relevant trade and professional organizations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with ANZCVS, ACVM, SIGs and other influential agencies that affect the business.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
  • Adhere to required H&S, and Quality procedures.
  • Adhere to Pharmacovigilance reporting requirements.
  • Travel when necessary, to develop new business and customer relationships.
  • May be required to complete additional duties as requested by NZ-GM from time to time.

 

The successful candidate will be:

  • University graduate or above (Veterinary Science or Science qualifications desired)
  • 3-5 years Sales experience, with at least 2-3 years in Animal health
  • Demonstrated ability to establish relationships and networks in industry (veterinary industry desirable)
  • Strong Sales, Technical and Marketing skills with the ability to effectively drive sales and motivate teams
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communications skills
  • Well-developed negotiation and analytical skills while effective time management are mandatory
  • Strong self-motivation, able to work independently with creative problem solving skills
  • Be customer focused, drive to win and grow the business
  • Excellent presentation skills and proven ability to communicate technical information
