Franklin Vets is a well-established, progressive and growing veterinary practice employing over 50 vets across 11 clinics. We’re looking for a Companion Animal Vet for our newly acquired clinic in the coastal town of Waihi.

About Us

The Waihi clinic is a fantastic facility with great equipment, including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, In-house Idexx Procyte CBC, UA & Biochem machines, Ezyvet and Infovet. At Franklin Vets, we are committed to providing a very high standard of medical and surgical care and the Waihi team is no different.  They will be working closely with our surrounding clinics and we see this clinic becoming a hub for some of the more complex medical and surgical cases from the region.

About You

You are an enthusiastic and positive Veterinarian, with great communication skills, who is keen to make a difference to our clients and patients.

Working as part of a strong, engaged team of veterinarians, customer service and nurses, you’ll enjoy a busy environment that creates value for our clients and goes the extra mile to help their pets. You will be part of an after-hours emergency care roster for companion animals only of approximately 1 in 6 weekends.
