Vet Marlborough seeks a qualified veterinary nurse to join our fantastic team.

Purpose built in 1998, Vet Marlborough is a member of the New Zealand Veterinary Association’s BESTPRACTICE® accreditation programme, which means the clinic is designed to offer the highest standards of comfort, care and treatment, ensuring quality service for clients, their pets and their livestock.

Vet Marlborough is regularly visited by veterinarians seeking inspiration and innovative ideas for their own alterations and new clinics. We have created a relaxing, welcoming environment that utilizes the very latest technology and equipment including Smartflow and an Idexx Lab suite..

Our nurses are supported by an animal care assistant. There skills are valued and utilised to a high degree and include but are not limited to:

  • Surgical nursing including orthopaedic & soft tissue surgeries
  • Reproduction
  • IV catheter placement and fluid therapy
  • Blood collection
  • Puppy class
  • Hospital patient care
  • Radiology

The clinic is open seven days. Weekends and after-hours work are shared with another multi-vet practice, with separate large animal and companion animal rosters. Nurses are on a weekend and after-hour roster when our practice is on duty.
