This is an exciting opportunity for a vet nurse with a surgical preference to join our nursing team. You will be working alongside a certified small animal surgical veterinarian to allow the completion of routine and complex procedures. Understanding of complex procedures such a TECA, abdominal surgery, laparoscopy and wound management would be useful. An interest in small animal breeding would also be beneficial.

This role would suit an experienced veterinary nurse with strong clinical and interpersonal skills to join our companion animal team. Working to achieve a high standard of care, strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently are key skills. Understanding surgical procedures and anaesthesia are required for this role and the ability to work well with a surgeon.

We are looking for a vet nurse with a minimum of 1-2 year's experience.

Applicants should have a Diploma in Vet Nurse or equivalent. Having a positive attitude and being friendly are key attributes that we are looking for. Understanding how to meet the organisational needs of a busy clinic is also needed.

This is a part-time role working up to a maximum of 28 hours per week. We have the ability to provide flexibility and find a solution that works for you.
