Join Anexa Veterinary Services in a Vet Nurse and Customer Service role as part of our Thames team. This is a varied role where you will be an integral part of the day to day running of the clinic, supporting veterinarians and providing exceptional care to clients and their animals.

Anexa Veterinary Services has 12 veterinary clinics across the Waikato and Hauraki Plains providing services to family pets, and both dairy and drystock farmers. Each of our clinics is unique but at Anexa we are one team.

About the role
Dual Vet Nurse and Customer Service role in a team of four qualified Vet Nurses working alongside two full time experienced companion animal Veterinarians, and experienced Mixed Practice Veterinarians from surrounding clinics. Vet Nursing responsibilities will include surgical nursing, monitoring anesthetic, hospital care, admitting and discharging patients and maintaining equipment (Thames clinic have an IDEXX in house labs and digital X-ray).
You will be the first port of call for all clients, face to face and over the phone. Customer Service will include serving customers managing the phones, booking consults and surgeries, liaising with Vets and further administration duties.
This role is full time, Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm. You will be required to be a part of the weekend after hours roster which includes a Saturday morning clinic.
About you
You will be a qualified Vet Nurse, a team player and dedicated to providing the best care and service to all clients and their animals. You will be computer literate and have excellent written and verbal skills. This role is a career development opportunity and both experienced Nurses and Graduate nurses will be considered.
