We are looking for a caring and compassionate team player with great communication skills to be part of our awesome small animal veterinary team.
This position is for an experienced nurse that has high work ethic and standards of care. Our ideal candidate will be able to work a minimum of 4 days a week, rostered Saturdays when needed, and will also be part of the after hours roster. Ideally applicants will be well experienced in all aspects of consultative and surgical nursing, be enthusiastic, progressive and want to be part of a large team committed to providing quality service.
Te Puke Vet Centre is known for its friendly, caring and flexible work atmosphere. We have a spacious purpose built clinic including three theatres, separate dog and cat wards, two consult rooms, a nurse consult room and a separate isolation ward. We are fully computerised and well equipped including digital x-ray processor, dental x-ray camera, iM3 dental machine, ultrasound and in-house laboratory testing.
Te Puke is a great community town nestled in the stunning Bay of Plenty. It is well known for being the Kiwifruit capital of the world, and is a stones throw away from all of the fabulous beaches and sea and lake-side towns in the area, such as Tauranga, Mount Maunganui, the Rotorua lakes and Taupo. The area offers a wide variety of outdoor and recreational activities including fishing, diving, water skiing, mountain biking and tramping.
This position combines being part of a high quality companion animal service with the lifestyle of a medium sized rural town, with the added benefit of sea-side proximity.
