Vetlife is a large veterinary practice on the South Island of New Zealand. We provide production and companion animal services to our clients across 20 sites along the east coast and into Central Otago. As we continue to develop our business, we currently have an opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic individual to co-ordinate our communication internally and externally and to facilitate marketing and training support to colleagues and clients.. Based in our Administration office in Timaru, your main focus will be 

  • Client Engagement: organising and running client initiatives, events and communication campaigns; regular client communication; monitoring impact and outcomes.
  • Colleague Communication and training: awareness of products including promotions and seasonal campaigns; support and assistance for training initiatives; development, communication and implementation of excellence standards.
  • Marketing Support: assist in production and implementation of seasonal marketing calendar; collate information for monthly tactical campaigns and provide input to development of marketing collateral; brief colleagues and monitor outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you are likely to have a tertiary qualification in a related discipline. You may have held a similar position or you may be a recent graduate with some related work experience. You will have great communication and people skills. You will be comfortable with information technology and possess well-honed reporting skills. It would be an advantage to have an understanding of the veterinary or agri-business sector.
