About the role
As a Waikato or Taranaki-based Territory Manager, you will have a key role in the business and overall responsibility for sales management across your region.
To be successful, you would need to combine technical selling with common sense and the ability to develop rapport with veterinarians, farmers, and contractors.
With an established client base and plenty of growth opportunities, you will play the long-term game and nurture your accounts.

Skills and experience
Good communication (whether face to face, on the phone, or via email), self-confidence, a desire to succeed and commitment to be part of a team are the hallmarks of a successful Territory Manager.
Computer literate, highly organised and a stickler for the numbers, you will have your finger on the pulse and you will know how to extract optimal value from your interactions with customers. Sales savvy, you will be highly commercial and know exactly how the finest adjustments will affect the bottom line.
The ideal background is a sales manager, key account manager, or recent graduate with a zest for life and a passion for the production animal health sector. A requirement of the job is to travel within your territory, and you will be able to and willing to be away from home regularly.
