Northland Veterinary Group has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Companion Animal Vet to join our well established 7 day/week practice.

Join our team of experienced vets that is passionate about giving the best animal care, and outstanding service to clients.

Your enthusiasm for your patients and clients is important to us, and you will be a natural team player with a desire to develop your skills, and be able to build great relationships with our clients and our team members.

This is a permanent, full time position with approximately 1:6 afterhours roster (CA only) with days off after a weekend worked.

Salary will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

We value CPD and will support attendance at CPD that is relevant to the needs of the practice.

Northland Veterinary Group is a mixed practice, multi-clinic environment that services the whole of the greater Whangarei district. You will have a varied and interesting case load. We are Best Practice accredited. The practice is well equipped including digital x-ray, ultrasound, dental x-ray, fluid pumps and IDDEX.

Northland is a great place to live and raise children. We have high sunshine hours and quick access to many beautiful beaches. There are many outstanding fishing and diving activities. Whangarei (NZ) is a rapidly growing area where you can enjoy the café, art and culture scene. We have an extensive and beautiful coastline with easy access providing year round, hiking and horseback riding etc. Whangarei is only 2 hours from Auckland, and our houses are still affordable.
