Description

Making sure the team is in the right place at the right time, working with our clients to ensure they get the veterinarian services they need. Our administrators are the glue that keeps our veterinarian team getting the job done across one of our region’s biggest industries.

The key responsibilities of our support team include:

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and staff
  • Coordinate communications, client bookings and corresponding the vet diaries & schedules
  • Plan and coordinate on-farm animal health programmes and consultations
  • Manage the farm data process, ensuring integrity in our databases
  • Preparation of reports and undertaking data analysis
  • Assist in organising and attending client events

To succeed in this role you'll enjoy working with people, be confident with data, keen to learn and improve processes and possess great attention to detail and precision orientation. A personable approach to dealing with colleagues and clients alike is a 'must have'. Ideally, you will also demonstrate a strong understanding of the farming sector and have on farm experience. Above all, you'll thrive on solving problems and challenges - fixing anything that gets in the way of our vets delivering truly top notch service to our clients. When you demonstrate high levels of initiative, our vets will love you for it!

This full time role will suit someone who enjoys being a part of the rural farming industry, understands the farming calendar and possesses an intermediate-high level of computing skills, including the use of Microsoft and G-Suite, and the ability to analyse data.

If this sounds like you - we’d love to hear from you!

VetSouth is a locally owned and operated clinic, and our team’s purpose is all about being Here for Good; doing our bit towards our client’s goals of happy healthy animals, successful and sustainable farms, and contributing to thriving local communities.

Just as important as what we do, is how we do it. So we value our staff loving what they do, making sure we get the job done right, striving to be one step ahead, and working as a team to be in it together.
